Collection King Mohan Babu who is enjoying the success of his recent release 'Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda' is playing the role of Yama Dharma Raju in 'Yamaleela -2' the supposed sequel to the 1994 comedy classic Yamaleela. The script for this much awaited sequel is ready and senior director S.V. Krishna Redy will be making this as well. Currently Pre-production works are going on and the movie will go on floor shortly.
Now the latest buzz is that Mohan Babu demanded a huge pay pack of 2 crores for this role and makers have obliged it. 'Yamaleela' is a low budget socio fantasy film and Lord Yama’s character doing the fun on earth was well dealt by director SV Krishna Reddy in his own style. In 'Yamaleela' veteran actor Satyanarayana has played lord Yama role. Now in the sequel Mohan Babu is playing the role of Lord Yama and comedian Bramanandam as Chitragupta.
Krishna Reddy has roped in actresses Sada and Nisha Kothari as the leading ladies for this socio fantasy. The film will be produced by Achchi Reddy under Manisha Films banner.
