Story line
Fights
Production Values

Minus Points :
Second Half
Slow fights
Lack of acting
Analysis :

The first half of the movie will open with a bomb blast which will be followed by student life. Director has executed scenes very well in the first half, Pre-Interval scenes will raise the expectations on the movie. But whereas coming to second half, story will be really dragged and at a stage common audience may not get satisfied. Second half story will be completely with predictable scenes.

Overall, Action entertainer with added terrorism background may entertain in the first half but really failed with its second part of the movie.

"Bheemavaram Bullodu" Movie Review With Rating

"Bheemavaram Bullodu" Movie Review With Rating

Release date : 27 February 2014
Tollywood Junction Rating : 2.5/5
Director : Uday Shankar
Producer : Suresh Babu
Music Director : Anoop Rubens
Punch Line: "Bullodu Would Have Been Better"
Starring : Sunil , Esther

Treating it as a comedy movie, we cannot just pick up and throw it like curry leaves in a curry. Because, now-a-days, its too difficult to make the audience laugh. It has become very difficult for the comedy movies to be produced these days. The film industry is searching for the new routes to make the audience laugh, because of the SMS Jokes, FaceBook Jokes and due to comedy shows like Jabardast. The success will be achieved by those who go through these new routes. If they perform something new, only then they will achieve success. If there are 60 scenes, they atleast half of them should entertain the audience. There is a problem when comedians like Sunil become a Hero. There should be complete comedy in all the 60 scenes of the movie. Sunil also promised that he made such a comedy which is enough for almost 10 movies for the audience to entertain. Did he keep his promise?? To what extent this movie has entertained the audience?? Let’s go to the Story to know all these……

Story :
Ram Babu (Sunil) who resides at Bhimavaram is a coward. He will not interfere, even when two people quarrel with each other. In addition to that, after seeing a girl, if Ram Babu says that she is Beautiful, then immediately she gets married with another person. Thats why all the people of his village pursues him to say that he likes their daughter, so that their daughter gets married soon. Once, Ram Babu gets a stroke on his head. When he goes to hospital, the Doctor says that he has Brain Tumour and he will not be alive for more than 10 days. He comes to Hyderabad due to in-toleration of the mercy looks of the villagers. He challenges the gangster activities in the city, as he thinks to carry out good deeds in these 10 days. In this regard, he saves Nandini (Esther). She falls in love with Ram Babu after this incident. But, he did not care for her, as he thinks that he is going to die within 10 days. However, he gets shocked with the news that he doesn’t have Brain Tumour and comes to know that the doctors have changed his reports. What happened about the courage that he showed during these 10 days? Did Ram Babu eventually behaved as before? How he saved himself from the gangsters? What happened about the Nandini’s Love? All these will be known from the second-half.

Positives :
* Sunil looks fresh in this film and tried his best to be different.
* Tanikella Bharani justifies his important role.
* Raghubabu with his gang and Posani comedy bits are okay in parts.

Negatives :
* Even though there is comedy in the movie, there is not even a single full length comedy scene which can entertain the audience.
* The long fight sequences are very boring as they are away from the normalcy. Fights are the major drawback in the film as they are long.
* Esther fails to impress as Nandini. She did not bring the explosive energy that Sunil brought into his role.
Technical Aspects :
* The Production values did not touch the standards of Suresh Productions.
* Uday Shankar disappointed both as a director and writer.
* The music by Anup Rubens is of a mixed bag, but with a good back ground score. The song “Premalo Padanura ….” looks good on-screen.
* Santosh Rao’s cinematography is neat.
* The main attraction of the technology lay in the conversations.

Tollywoodjunction Verdict :
The story of the movie is very thin and goes in snail-pace narration. A timid young man from Bheemavaram goes to Hyderabad after knowing that he has only 10 days to live. He wants to do what gives him happiness and starts fighting with gangsters in the city. But fortunately, he remains alive after 10 days. The movie seems to have inspired from few Bollywood as well as Tollywood films from the past. Even though there are many villains, the Hero just goes around the Heroine’s father to gain her love, leaving all the gang aside in the second -half.
It’s a boring film that banks heavily on poor comedy. Comedy alone cannot save a film when there is no grip on the story. Everything about the movie has an out dated look and feel. The fights are too dragged and the costumes look antiquated. The emotions don’t work because of the love story entirely fails to make much impact. Even though they made their efforts, which is evident in every frame, but sadly the results are not up to the mark.
The movie is like a time pass film. That too only in the first-half. A very simple story….simply produced….. Simply made and simply released on the audience. The result is also likely to be simple…. !

"NA RAKUMARUDU" movie review!!

"NA RAKUMARUDU" movie review!!

Release date : 21 February 2014
Rating : 2/5
Director : T Satya
Producer : P Vajrang
Music Director : T Atchu
Starring : Naveen Chandra, Ritu Varma

STORY:

Plus Points:

Young hero Naveen Chandra, who impressed everyone with his acting skills in Andaala Raakshasi, is now back with his third film in Na Rakumarudu. Ritu Varma plays the female lead and Puri Jagan’s assistant, Satya turns director with this film. Na Rakumarudu has hit the screens on this weekend.
Vaishnav(Naveen Chandra) is the son of a rich business man in Hyderabad. He decides to go the US for his further studies, and since he has three months time to go there, he decides to find the girl of his life.
After a certain point of time, he meets Bindu(Ritu Varma) during an small incident. Soon both of them become close friends and Bindu falls in love with Vaishnav.
She decides to propose Vaishnav and as soon as she does, Vaishnav rejects her proposal and leaves to the US. A depressed Bindu now decides to end her life.
What happens to Bindu ? Why did Vaishnav reject Bindu’s proposal ? Will he come back and accept her back in his life? For all these answers, you need to watch the film on big screen.

Na Rakumarudu is a makeover film for Naveen Chandra. After doing some dark and intense roles, he has attempted a regular and youthful entertainer. He is impressive in the role of Vaishnav, and has emoted really well. Even his dances are good and he has a bright prospect as a hero if he plays his cards right.
Ritu Varma suits the character really well. She had a difficult role, but carried it off with ease. Sitara’s role as the heroine’s mom is also good. Some scenes in the first half are quite interesting.

Minus Points:

Director Satya played his cards right with a decent star cast, but the way he went about executing his part is quite ordinary. After a not so pleasing first half, the second half is also quite routine. There is absolutely nothing new in the film to look forward.
The entire movie is highly predictable, and one can easily find out what all twists and turns that will be revealed. There is absolutely no comedy in the film, and the climax is very cliched. Songs come in as speed breaker to the already boring script.
Technical Aspects:-
Camerawork of this film is highly impressive. Each and every frame looks rich and classy. Music composed by Achu is also decent, but his background score is which elevates the film.
Editing is horrible, especially the second half has been edited badly. Satya does a decent job with his direction and extracts wonderful performances from the lead pair. Production values are quite rich and have been lavishly shot.

Verdict:-

On the whole, Ra Kumarudu disappoints you completely. Neither the message showcased, nor the film has been executed well. You can safely ignore this film this weekend, and wait for it to come on TV.

"Aaha Kalyanam" Movie Review With Rating

"Aaha Kalyanam" Movie Review With Rating

Release date : 21 February 2014
Tollywood Junction Rating : 2.85/5
Director : Gokul Krishna
Producer : Aditya Chopra
Music Director : Dharan
Starring : Nani, Vaani Kapoor

The prestigious Yash Raj Films ventured into South Indian film production with Aaha Kalyanam. The movie is the official remake of Band Baaja Baarat. Starring the super talented Nani and Vaani Kapoor, this film is directed by debutante Gokul Krishna. Aaha Kalyanam has hit the screens today and let’s see how it is.

Story :-
Shakti(Nani) is an aimless graduate, who does not know what to do with his life. One fine day, he meets Shruthi(Vaani Kapoor) at a wedding and becomes friends with her. Shruthi is an ambitious girl, who wants to start up her own wedding planning company.
One day, Shakti’s dad urges him to come back to his village and take care of their family business. In order to avoid his dad, Shakti lies to him that he is doing wedding planning as a business. In order to make his lie a truth, he meets Shrtuhi and requests her to make him her partner in the wedding planning business.
Shakti starts pestering Shruthi, and after a lot of deliberation, she agrees to partner with Shakti. They launch a wedding planning company called Getti Melam. As time passes by, their company becomes a huge success and Getti Melam becomes the talk of the town.
One fine day when Shruthi and Shakthi are celebrating their success, a small incident changes the dynamics of their personal relationship and both part ways..
What is that incident ? What happens to their business ? Will the couple get back together ? For all these answers you need to watch this film on big screen.

Plus Points:-

If Band Baaja Baarat was both Anushka and Ranveer’s show, Aha Kalyanam is undoubtedly Nani’s show all the way. His Tapori act and the way he has carried off his character is spell binding. Not even once, does one get reminded of Ranveer Singh from the original. He has tried his best to make this film tick.
Vaani Kapoor is definitely a find, and does well for her first film down south. She had a difficult character and has carried it off well. Her chemistry with Nani is good. First half of the film is entertaining mostly because of Nani’s antics.
Songs and dances have been picturized well. One of the important romantic scenes looks good on screen and has been shot very aesthetically

Minus Points:-

After watching the trailers, all those who had an opinion that Aaha Kalyanam looked more like a Tamil film, are spot on. The entire culture, artists and set up is nothing like that of Telugu films. Though the weddings have been showcased well, they have an alien feel. The lack of Telugu nativity is felt sorely.
Second half of the film lacks emotional depth. In Band Baaja Baraat, the second is terrific and takes the film to another level. The entire second half has many dull moments and lacks the pace.
Aaha Kalyanam is a faithful copy of Band Baaja Baarat, and those who have seen the Hindi version might not like this film.
The supporting cast is yet another drawback of this film. None of the characters make an impression, as Nani is left by himself to carry the film on his shoulders. Simran’s special appearance does not impress much.

Technical Aspects:-
Aaha Kalyanam is high on technical values. As said earlier, all the weddings have been showcased colorfully. The art department has done a wonderful job in making this film look rich. Music of the film is just about OK, and only one or two songs are impressive. Background score is soothing.
Dialogues are impressive, and the ones written for Nani are hilarious. Screenplay of the film is apt in the first half, but some scenes in the second half lack clarity.
Director Gokul Krishna does not make a very good case for himself with this movie. He has just faithfully copied this film from the original.

Verdict:-
Aaha Kalyanam is a film which works partially only because of Nani’s star status and talent. Sizzling chemistry from the lead pair is a plus. But a dragged out second half with not much of emotional depth spoils the fun. You can give this film a shot only for Nani, otherwise there is nothing Aaha about it

Traffic Telugu Movie Review-Worth Watching

Tollywood Junction Rating: 3.5/5
Punch Line: Worth Watching
Genre: Suspense drama
Star Cast:  Sarath kumar, Prakash Raj, Raadhika, Suriya
Director: Shahid Khader
Producer: Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana
Music: Mejo Joseph
Released on: 14 feb 2014
Expectations: Yes
Reached Expectations: Yes

‘Traffic’ is the dubbed version of a successful and highly acclaimed Tamil movie. South stars Surya, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Radhika, Cheran and Prasanna have essayed the lead roles in the movie. Directed by Shaheed Khader, the movie has released today across Andhra Pradesh. Let us see how the movie is now.

Story :
Sathyamoorthy (Cheran)is a good hearted cop who is serving a suspension for taking a bribe. Karthik is a young Gemini TV journalist who is gearing up to interview his favourite hero Gautham Krishna ( Prakash Raj). While proceeding to the studio, he meets with an accident and ends up as a brain dead patient.
Unexpectedly, Gautham Krishna’s daughter is need of an emergency heart transplant and Karthik’s heart is the perfect match. Gautham’s wife (Radhika) pleads with Karthik’s parents and they agree to donate the heart.
But the trouble has just started. The girl is located in Kodhada in a critical condition and she is in no position to travel. The heart must be brought to Kodhada in a span of 90 minutes . Poor weather rules out the use of a chopper and the heart must be delivered by road.
The mission falls into the hands of the dynamic police commissioner Sundar (Sarath Kumar). As he gets about organising this mission, Sathya Moorthy volunteers to be the driver, to redeem his lost honour. He is accompanied on this trip by Doctor Robbin ( Prasanna) and Karthik’s friend Ajmal.
A heart stopping road journey follows. Will Sathya Moorthy and team succeed in their mission? Will Commissioner Sundar succeed in successfully executing a nearly impossible mission? That needs to be seen on the big screen.

Plus Points:
Tamil hero Suriya has a brief but vital guest role in this movie and elevates the movie with his presence. Sarath Kumar has given a superb performance as the police commissioner in the film. He is ably supported by Cheran, who has portrayed the role of the good hearted Sathya Moorthy.
Prakash Raj and Radhik are good in their respective roles. A number of Tamil actors have played important roles in the movie and they have all done well .
The graph of the movie never dips once the road journey starts. A nice sub plot involving Prasanna and his wife has been woven into the story.
The interval bang is quite nice and it leaves the viewers in a state of suspense. A nice and tidy length of 2 hours is a big plus for the movie.

Minus Points :
The story of the movie is a little unrealistic. Police officials say that the usage of a helicopter is rules out due to poor weather. But everything looks nice and sunny.
The car stops and the occupants get into a scuffle. Is that permitted when you need to cover 180 kms in 90 minutes?
Presence of too many Tamil actors and lack of commercial elements might work against the movie in B and C centers. Climax is a little soft.
Technical Aspects:
The editor must be commended for doing a very nice job. Cinematography is nice and background music is an asset for the film.
Director Shaheed must be appreciated for his direction and for not straying away from the main plot.

Verdict :
Traffic is a good suspense drama that will keep you engaged for two hours. Nice performances and very fast narration are big bonus points. However, Tamil nativity and lack of commercial elements might hamper the movie in B and C centers.

"PAISA" Movie Review

Tollywood Junction Rating: 2.75/5
Punch Line: "Paisaye Paramathma"
Star Cast: Nani and Catherine Tresa
Director: Krishna Vamsi
Producer: Ramesh Puppala
Music: Sai Karthik
Released on: 7th feb 2014

STORY:

Prakash (Nani) who believes in "Paisaye Paramathma" works in local Sherwani ads as a model. Noor (Catherine  Tresa) a Muslim gals loves Pracash. But for his love for Cash, Nani always ignores Noor. In the meanwhile, Sanyasi Naidu - Saradhi (Bharath) competes in By-Elections in Royalapatnam. Daughter of Sanayasi Naidu Sweety (Siddhika Sharma) gets close with Pracash, seeing their closeness Noor accepts Yadav (RK)'s deal to dance as Moojara girl. To make Sanayasi Naidu lose in elections Saradhi plans to steal his 50 Crores fund from Hawala. But things turns around and Pracash gets in the middle of this operation gets out with 50 Crores saving Noor from Yadav. How will Pracash find the money? How will he manage to save 50 Crores save from four gangs. How Nani Wringgles out of the situation and mary Noor forms the rest of the storyline.

Positives :

Hero Nani is introduced in a simple way with a kite chasing scene. But Heroine Catherine’s introduction is mind-blowing. She looked gorgeous and her character is lovable. It cannot be explained here. We have to watch on the screen itself. The funny and teasing scenes between Nani and Catherine attracted much. Two songs in his movie have a melodious touch. Actor Charan Raj’s characterization is quite unique and different as a politician, especially as a Minister.

Negatives :

Even though Charan Raj has done well, but lack of a strong Villian is the main drawback of the movie. The movies with the concept of huge amounts have already been produced in the past. The same concept is applied with slight changes. Routine climax of the movie. The movie would have been much more entertaining, if Vamsi could have delivered his more strength.

Analysis:

The movie begins with collage of political scenario that is similar to prevailing conditions in our State and the politicians characters talk about in the film are so close to the leaders in our real-life. Yet you soon realize all this is a waste effort the director takes you further. The first half deals with the problems of the stellar cast and their background. However, director takes the lead character PraCASH for granted as there is no clue about his family, other miscellaneous details. The first half of the film disappoints you with Tollywood’s cliches and routine dialogues. Although the romance track between Noor and PraCASH appears to be incomplete, under current the director gives you hint that they fell for each other. It’s the only blessing in disguise.
The actual story begins after the intermission or the director make us believe so. But sudden pop up of songs, at couple of times, interrupt the flow of narration and make you fumble towards the nearest exit in theatres. Climax is okay, convincing although nothing great. On whole, the director failed to establish a strong antagonism in the subject. Too many villains confuse the viewers. Blame the writer-director for taking cops for granted. Many cops are being shot, killed indiscriminately yet everything is normal and goes as usual. Not even media interferes into wrongdoings despite ahead of by-polls.

final verdict:

‘Paisa’ is a movie that will not give you a paisa vasool experience at the Box Office. Despite some good efforts from Nani, this movie will face huge challenges at the Box Office. Poor technical values, lack of an engaging screenplay and low entertainment value will hurt the film.

Pandavalu Pandavalu Tummedha Movie Review With Rating

Pandavalu Pandavalu Tummedha Movie Review With Rating

Tollywood Junction Rating: 3.5/5
Punch Line: Romantic Entertainer
Genre: Romantic love story
Star Cast: Manoj,vishnu,hansika,pranitha,mohanbabu
Director: Srinivas
Producer: Mohan babu
Music: Bappa lahari,achu
Released on: 31st jan 2014
Expectations: Yes
Reached Expectations: Yes

Story :
Tourist Guide Naidu (Mohan Babu) operates in Bangkok. He stays with his three adopted sons (Manchu Manoj, Taneesh and Varun Sandesh). Naidu has a long lost lover (Raveena Tandon) and he keeps thinking about her quite often.
As fate would have it, Raveena Tandon is also present in the same city. Raveena has two adopted sons ( Vijay aka Vijju (Vishnu) and Vennela Kishore). Vijju is in love with Honey (Hansika), who stays with them.
Unexpectedly, Naidu and Raveena Tandon come across each other one day and decide to get married. While this is opposed initially by the kids, they come to know about the sacrifices made by Naidu and Raveena, so they finally agree.
But Honey has a secret flashback that is revealed quite unexpectedly. She is pursued by Suyodhana (Mukesh Rishi), the don of Kauravapuram. He wins Honey in a bet and decides to get her married to his son Gaja. When Naidu and his family comes to know about this, they decide to enter Suyodhana’s house in various disguises, to disrupt Gaja’s marriage with Honey.
How they achieve this goal is what PPT is all about.

Plus Points :
Dr. Mohan Babu is an accomplished actor with great dialogue delivery. He uses both attributes to great effect in this movie. While his performance as Tourist guide Naidu is good, he really comes into his own in the second half, as Graha Raja.
Vishnu and Manoj have done well in the roles allotted to them. Manoj has good comedy timing and his performance is a big highlight for this movie. Hansika and Praneetha add the required glamour quotient.
Raveena Tandon still has the good looks and she will be a perfect fit for roles that require a certain maturity. Brahmanandam entertains in the second half of the movie as Bapure. Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Mukesh Rushi and Telangana Sakunthala have brief roles, but they have done a good job.
The second half of the film has good entertainment levels. The interval block has been conceived well, with the right amount of emotions.

Minus Points :
Taneesh and Varun Sandesh have been completely overshadowed in the movie. The comedy sequence involving M.S. Narayana is not every effective.
The story is quite routine and cliched. Movies like ‘Ready’, ‘Dhee’, ‘Kandireega’ etc. have the same formula of the hero and his family going to the villain’s place in disguise, to change the villain’s family. As a result, there is nothing to look forward to in the next scene. Regular movie goers will be able to guess what will happen next.
The pace of the film drops towards the climax and the movie has been wrapped up abruptly. Songs act as speed breakers and do not help the movie in any way. The length of the film could have been trimmed in the second half.

Technical Aspects :
Cinematography is very decent and visuals look rich and colourful. Editing is ok in the first half, but not very effective in the second half. Some dialogues are good, especially the ones written for Mohan Babu.
Srivas’s direction is ok in parts. He has shown his talent in few places like the interval fight sequence.

Verdict :
‘Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummedha’ is a decent commercial entertainer from the Manchu family. It feels quite good to see Dr. Mohan Babu, Vishnu and Manoj together. Commercially, this film should score well at the Box Office as the entertainment quotient is quite good.

Heart Attack Movie Complete Review

Heart Attack Movie Complete Review

Tollywood Junction Rating: 3.25/5
Punch Line: "AVERAGE" Attack
Genre: Romantic and action love story
Star Cast: Nithin and adah sharma
Director: Puri jagannadh
Producer: Puri jagannadh
Music: Anup Rubens
Released on: 31st jan 2014
Expectations: Yes
Reached Expectations: Not up to the mark

STORY:

Varun (Nitin) is a traveller, who loves to travel different places all the time and works for part-time at that place to earn a living. At the time Varun enters Spain, a girl from India, Hayathi (Adah Sharma) lands up there to meet her friend Priya (Kesha Kambati) and help her in love. Priya’s father Iskon Ramana (Brahmanandam) runs an Iskon centre and he is a staunch Lord Krishna devotee.

By the time Hayathi convinces Ramana about Priya’s love, she falls in love with Varun who is trailing all the time for a ‘kiss’. What happens when Varun seeks a kiss but neither love nor relation, and how Adah escapes Varun is the interval bang. From then, scene shifts to India, with Varun trying to find out Adah and encountering drug lord Makrand.

PERFORMANCES:

Nitin looks extremely handsome and stylish in his new look. He breathed freshness into hero’s character, and behaved impressive like a Puri’s hero. Cool dances, and effective dialogue delivery are his assets. But he is a bit low in fights, an area in which Puri’s heroes are awesome all the time.

Adah Sharma makes you spell binding with her terrific performance. She is beautiful, but hasn’t done any glamour show like Puri’s heroines. Her splendid expressions and beautiful screen presence attracts youths.

Apart from Nitin and Adah, new girl Kesha Kambati who played Venky’s side kick in ‘Shadow’ has done a decent role as heroine’s friend. Also Tejaswini (SVSC fame) too attracted attention in the role of Brahmi’s daughter.

Brahmanadam is as usual at his best, though the role is quite okay, his conversations with Lord Krishna and reactions regarding her daughter’s love are terrific. First half belongs to Brahmi’s entertaining quotient. Ajay proved that he quite superb as a villain, and he scores marks. Same is the case with Ali who played Tamil Rajnikanth in second half. Pulling few laughs, he fits the bill perfectly with a couple of double entendres too.

Prakash Raj just shined in a small role, of no importance, but made his presence felt for whistles and claps. Another lady who is famous for that Welcom Kanakam song in Baadshah too sparkled in a miniscule role.

DIRECTION:

Once again Puri Jagan is best at his direction, though he selected a simple story again. The way he made scenes run racy with his upbeat screenplay made the flick interesting. In weaving ingredients like comedy, double meanings, peppy scenes and interesting moments, Puri is second to none. Also he has done good job as dialogue writer again, as some one-liners are simply cracking theatres into whistles.

Cinematographer Amola Rathod did a fantastic job and every frame in Heart Attack is rich and new. If Spain is beautiful, Amol’s work made it best. Refreshingly new camera angles and breezy inter-cuts between shots are what Amol’s strongest areas. At the same time, art director Brahma Kadali’s work, colour palette and vibrant ideas complemented the film’s look well. Costumes are also superb as everyone will now think about wearing stuff like Nitin’s and Adah’s.

Anup Rubens already scored a peppy album that got a couple of songs like ‘Nuvvante Naaku’ and ‘Choopinchandey’ that became chartbusters while emotional song ‘Selavanuko’ is hot favourite. He did well with background score too, literally pouring life to this simple flick.

Ram-Laxman’s action choreography is impressive again with top notch fights, while SR Sekhar’s editing is crisp and intuitive.

The PLUSES:

·               First half dialogues, satires

·               Nitin and Adah Sharma

·               Cinematography

·               Songs and background score

·               Fights

The MINUSES:

·         Poor and predictable story

·         Simple climax

BREAKDOWN:

All the time, Puri Jagan showcases that woman are a bit less in terms of heart and love, but this time he kept woman on a high. Probably, as his wife Lavanya is the producer, he might have changed his version. Rather sticking to negative aspects, he came out of that and tried to portray pure love, emotions and a masla story. But yes, story is missing again.

Like in all formulaic flicks, Puri introduces a villain and his strength in Goa and then shifts scene to Spain for a love story. Though the way hero tackles heroine is quite new, there is nothing fresh in terms of story. Audience could expect what will happen next. Anyway, Puri’s dialogues and screenplay will hold the grip. In a scene, where Puri says that ‘Titanic’ is destroyed due to two lovers, one will get goose bumps for his different review on an acclaimed hit Hollywood flick. But if anyone expects too much romance in this love story, then they should know the fact that Puri’s love stories will have more dialogues and less of romance. And after a fall out, scene shifts to India, hero finds his lover, kills the goon and the end. Sometimes Idiot, and sometimes Sivamani, but not a heart attack really. Predictable, but pleasant!!!

As usual our director made hero to tell some philosophies, and again stressed that ‘extraordinary’ philosophy said by Pawan in Rambabu movie is right. Though Puri tried to portray the strengths of Nitin, our hero’s minuses too played their part. Nitin worked very well on his body language but haven’t got that punch in fights. Also his dialogue delivery needs some workout, as he is rolling out in areas still. Had he been more effective like a Raviteja, this film would have become an Idiot. But this time, only an average fare.

FINAL VERDICT:

Heart attack may hit the "HEART'S" if no movie releases in between.Watch it for excellent performances and dialogues.

Love You Bangaram:Movie Review

Love You Bangaram:Movie Review

Tollywood Junction Rating: 1.75/5
Punch Line: Over dose of abuses &double meanings
Genre: Romantic love story
Star Cast: Rahul and Shravya
Director: Govi
Producer: Vallabh,Maruthi
Music: Mahith Narayan
Released on: 24th jan 2014
Expectations: No
Reached Expectations: Yes

Story line and performances:

There is some meaning, if a movie is shown in obscene and raunchy, with a college story or with a teenage stir. This type of a concept can be accepted because; now the generation is like that. What one can say, if Romance between wife and husband is shown in a very vulgar manner? There is already an impression on Maruthi that he will make raw raunchy films. “Eerojullo” and “Bus Stop” are best examples for this. Maruthi always takes care to have obscene content in the films that he produces. A new Director, Govi took megaphone with yesterday’s Romance and today’s Love You Bangaram. Even as new Director, he just followed the path Maruthi and released it on the audience. Let us see how much romance is present in Love You Bangaram.
Akash (Rahul) suffers from inferiority complex. He frustrates even for small instances. Even though, he works as an Assistant Manager, he could not even buy a two wheeler. Anyway, that is a different story. Meenakshi (Shravya) is a girl with lot of confidence. Both love each other and they marry against the will of their parents.
They come from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad to settle down. For sometime, they will have good married life. She wants to do a job, as she gets bored at home. Even though Akash gives his nod, he will have some suspicion in his mind. To the surprise, the office will have people of different characters. In the mean time, Madan (Rajiv), the tenth class lover of Meenakshi enters the story. Akash notices a change in Meenakshi after she joins the job. His suspicion is added day by day….that something is going on behind. Basically, what is the reason for change in Meenakshi’s attitude?? Are they only a suspicion or really Meenakshi is on the wrong track. The next story is basically about these issues.
To speak in a word, it is a story of a married couple. He made this story in a very romantic way. But there is a little twist in the movie. That is a Psycho character, which enters at the climax of the movie. After watching the movie, one can observe that Govi first wrote a story for a Psycho character, and seems that he added a love story to that. The movie does not enter the Main Line till the pre-climax of the film. Once the Psycho enters, then we cannot watch his ferocious character. However, the episode before the wedding is a sheer waste. Even the love affair is not at all a different one, but it is as old as a black and white movie. Looking at amiability of the boy, the girl loves him and the boy falls in love with the girl at her beauty – that way the story goes on.
There are many small as well as sub-stories in the movie. It seems that the Director has a lot of anger, revenge, vengeance, etc., with the Software employees. All that he showed in this movie. He showed that Software engineers as watching blue films and drinking beers in the office, with a packet of condoms as the pen in the pocket. There is no limit to the double meaning dialogues.
A boy says that he is specialist in opening the seal…… looking at a girl !
It doesn’t matter, whether it is thin or fat, but it should work says the girl !
How to cook, if you need me in bedroom till nine.. Asks a housewife..!
These are only a few to explain, but the movie is full of such double meaning dialogues.
Overall, Maruthi showed all his talent. He thought to bring the audience to the theaters by just trusting raunchy aspects. As Maruthi could not direct the film without a double meaning, now he decayed to such state that he can not invest in the films, without the double meanings. When there is no anxiety about the movie and nothing of interesting, about the next scenes, then such type of movie is mere waste. This film also comes into the list of such movies.

Final Verdict:

Not worth watching movie. You can just go for next alternative avoiding this

Yevadu Movie Review With Rating

Yevadu Movie Review With Rating

Mega power star ramcharan's yevadu movie is getting a positive talk from all the sources.Ram charan lifted this movie superbly on his own hands.Dialogues, fights and dances especially in freedom song are very nice

Tollywood junction rating: 3.75/5
Punchline: Story oriented but entertaining
Genre: Action
Story - dialogues - direction: Vamsi paidapally
Producers:Dil raju
Music:Devi sri prasad
Release date: 12 january 2014

What do you expect from a pure commercial movie? Commercial movies are made on a win win formula. It is like people watch what they want and pay for that.
Hero’s image, plus and minus, visuals for more key scenes, when should it give a twist? When will have to take the movie to a high pitch? All these are the key points for a commercial make of a story line.
Yes, Yevadu team made the same thing. They gave a commercial treatment to a Hollywood story line. Convincing the audience with the mass elements, the movie filled all the needed features of a commercial cinema to be a hit at box.
Coming to the story line Deepti (Kajal) and Satya (Allu Arjun) are in deep love. But Veeru Bhai (Mukhul Dev) desires for Deepti. Veeru Bhai is a local dada. Satya will be saving Deepti from the attacks of Veeru Bhai. Hence one day Veeru men will kill Deepti and Satya will be admitted in the hospital. Satya with his completely burnt face will be saved by a doctor (Jayasudha). Satya will undergo plastic surgery and Allu Arjun will transform into Ram Charan.
With a heart core revenge Satya starts search of his enemies. Satya with a new name Ram will kill his enemies. But Ram will be followed by another gang? Who are they? Why are they following? Is what Yevadu is about.
This is the story of first half. There is another story for the second half. What is the second half story? Better you enjoy it on screen.
The movie is based on a regular revenge concept. But it is not about one revenge. The story runs with revenge in two ways. The transformation of hero is a new concept for Tollywood audience. The first 15 minutes movie goes like a thriller. The movie also runs in a high pitch till Bunny transforms into Charan. Later it turns into a complete commercial element when the episode of Charan revenge action starts. The movie is brought back to life with an interval twist.
It can be said that the actual story of Yevadu starts here. Director gave a excellent lead to the second half by adding a flash back for the face post plastic surgery. Now second half has a another new story. Audience will have a feeling that they watched two movies on a single ticket. But this drawback was over took by the emotional drama, Sai Kumar’s character being very interesting audience will enjoy the movie.
Yevadu satisfied the expectations of Mega fans with dance moves, fights and dialogues. It gave a new look as it was a face off inspired story. Vamsi caught the pulse on when to raise the movie into a high pitch. We can even say that director followed the trick of Rajamouli. The second half was burdened with heavy emotions with out any relief point.
Brahmanandam was limited to one or two scenes. Director did not concentrate on using Vennala Kishore in the second half though there is an opportunity. Director forgot about comedy in a focus to run the movie in a tempo. Two heroines are for just name sake in the movie. Ami Jackson was better than Shruti Hasan.
Director failed to use Sai Kumar who gave a mind blowing performance. Sai Kumar dialogue delivery with his base voice injects an excitement in the audience. Hope at least after Yevadu our directors should know how to utilise the talents of the vibrant actor Sai Kumar.
Coming to Charan’s performance he acted as per the expectations of his fans. For the first time he was seen in a complete emotional phase. This time he reminded his father while dialogue delivery. Of course as wanted by audience. He proved his dancing talent once again in two songs.
Though Bunny was for a very short time, he turned to be a key role in the movie. Director’s judgement in choosing Bunny for the role worked. Jayasudha was offered a good role after a long time. The conversations between Jayasudha ans Saikumar were highlight to the movie and audience will enjoy it.
As a routine, this time also director successfully missed logics. Who is responsible for the 3 murders in Visakhapatnam? What about the investigations in the case? Will the voice change if undergone a plastic surgery? Many answered questions are left out.
Action sequences are more in the movie. Will families coming to watch the movie enjoy it? The movie is technically sound. Any way Dil Raju’s choice cannot be commented. All elements are added to the movie.
Devi Sri music worked well for the movie. In the emotional sequences director used the names of Chiranjeevi and Pavan Kalyan which gave an added zeal to the audience.

Jaya suda dialogues and sruthi hassan glamour are added plus points to the movie.Dialogues are written very well and background score for movie is simply superb
It is absolutely not a classic, neither a mind blowing movie nor something very unique. It is just a commercial movie. Watch it and enjoy for ram charan's amazing performance.

Story

Uyyala Jampala reviewSuri (Raj Tarun) and Uma Devi (Avika Gor/Anandi) are bava maradallu in a small village. Suri’s mother is a poor widow. Uma Devi’s parents are rich. Both of the them stay in a starkly different neighboring houses. Suri and Uma Devi have a nice friendship since they are kids and they never realise love angle in it. Suri is a man of giving and Uma Devi is confused at times. The rest of the story is all about how they realise that they are made for eachother and how they overcome to the rich-poor barrier!

Artists Performance

Uyyala Jampala reviewMain leads: Raj Tarun is not your typical Telugu film hero. But suited the role to a T. Despite of being from Vizag, he mastered Godari dialogue and delivered authentically. He is the most impressive debutant of the year. Though he has a feeble personality, he has shown intensity in the only action sequence in the film. There is likability and purity in his screen presence which will take him to places. Avika Gor (Balika Vadhu/Chinnari Pellikoothuru) is a selling point to this film which has no known faces. Her name rings bell with the family crowds. She did really well as an actress and is extremely confident. But one can’t expect her to come out with typical Telugu village girl authentic expressions.

Uyyala Jampala reviewOthers: Punarnavi Bhupalam steals the show as a young and effervescent girl who falls for the hero. She is cute and perform her part with love of enthusiasm. Ravi Varma (Ruthu Raagaalu fame) is seen in insignificant characters in movies so far. He is extremely good as father of heroine in a slightly negative role. This film will give the Telugu film industry a good character artist who is suitable for father roles. Anita has graduated from sister/vadina roles to mother role in this movie. She is excellent and reminds us of Suhasini at times. Peela Gangadhar is superb as the friend of hero. His expressions in the scene where hero spoils the marriage alliance of heroine is hilarious. Hanuma Alluri is good. Kireeti Damaraju who got recognition as a funny practical lover in Second Hand film gets another interesting role in this movie.

Technical departments

Uyyala Jampala reviewStory - screenplay - direction: Story of the film is simple. Bavamaradallu realising that they are made for eachother, that is. One may find a bit of similarity to Nuvve Kavali in the terms of storyline and treatment. Virinchi Varma makes a nice debut as director by narrating the movie with no boring moments. He has sprinkled classy village humor at regular intervals. It is the treatment and direction that made this simple story interesting. The right casting and cute moments added up to the effectiveness of the movie. This movie is so sweet that words like ‘lapak lapak’ which would have been classified as adult terms in other movies sounded normal in this movie. The director has justified the title of the film with narrative by narrating the film with back (childhood) and forth (current) episodes. Screenplay of the film is decent. Emotions in the movie are handled well and I expected more depth of emotion in the climax of the film.

Uyyala Jampala reviewOther departments: All three songs in the film are melodious and of good taste. Background music by Sunny MR is very nice. Cinematography by Vishwa DB is excellent. Dialogues written by the director Virinchi Varma are entertaining. Art direction by S Ravinder is completely natural. Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh is smooth. It’s nice to see two big studios patronizing and promoting a nice movie made by an independent producer Ram Mohan. Ram Mohan has proven credentials by producing decent films like Ashta Chemma and Golkonda High School.

Analysis

Analysis: It’s been a long time since we saw a commercially acceptable small budgeted pure/sweet love story that is packaged well and presented it to the movie lovers with proper release strategy. Uyyala Jampala reminds me most of recent successes of small budgeted films from Yashraj Films (Band Baja Barat etc). Films that are done with precision and offer pleasant entertainment to the audiences. Plus points of the film are freshness, casting, performances, entertainment, direction and sensibility. Uyyala Jampala is a sweet love story and a family entertainer. You may watch it.
