Pandavalu Pandavalu Tummedha Movie Review With Rating

Pandavalu Pandavalu Tummedha Movie Review With Rating

Tollywood Junction Rating: 3.5/5
Punch Line: Romantic Entertainer
Genre: Romantic love story
Star Cast: Manoj,vishnu,hansika,pranitha,mohanbabu
Director: Srinivas
Producer: Mohan babu
Music: Bappa lahari,achu
Released on: 31st jan 2014
Expectations: Yes
Reached Expectations: Yes

Story :
Tourist Guide Naidu (Mohan Babu) operates in Bangkok. He stays with his three adopted sons (Manchu Manoj, Taneesh and Varun Sandesh). Naidu has a long lost lover (Raveena Tandon) and he keeps thinking about her quite often.
As fate would have it, Raveena Tandon is also present in the same city. Raveena has two adopted sons ( Vijay aka Vijju (Vishnu) and Vennela Kishore). Vijju is in love with Honey (Hansika), who stays with them.
Unexpectedly, Naidu and Raveena Tandon come across each other one day and decide to get married. While this is opposed initially by the kids, they come to know about the sacrifices made by Naidu and Raveena, so they finally agree.
But Honey has a secret flashback that is revealed quite unexpectedly. She is pursued by Suyodhana (Mukesh Rishi), the don of Kauravapuram. He wins Honey in a bet and decides to get her married to his son Gaja. When Naidu and his family comes to know about this, they decide to enter Suyodhana’s house in various disguises, to disrupt Gaja’s marriage with Honey.
How they achieve this goal is what PPT is all about.

Plus Points :
Dr. Mohan Babu is an accomplished actor with great dialogue delivery. He uses both attributes to great effect in this movie. While his performance as Tourist guide Naidu is good, he really comes into his own in the second half, as Graha Raja.
Vishnu and Manoj have done well in the roles allotted to them. Manoj has good comedy timing and his performance is a big highlight for this movie. Hansika and Praneetha add the required glamour quotient.
Raveena Tandon still has the good looks and she will be a perfect fit for roles that require a certain maturity. Brahmanandam entertains in the second half of the movie as Bapure. Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Mukesh Rushi and Telangana Sakunthala have brief roles, but they have done a good job.
The second half of the film has good entertainment levels. The interval block has been conceived well, with the right amount of emotions.

Minus Points :
Taneesh and Varun Sandesh have been completely overshadowed in the movie. The comedy sequence involving M.S. Narayana is not every effective.
The story is quite routine and cliched. Movies like ‘Ready’, ‘Dhee’, ‘Kandireega’ etc. have the same formula of the hero and his family going to the villain’s place in disguise, to change the villain’s family. As a result, there is nothing to look forward to in the next scene. Regular movie goers will be able to guess what will happen next.
The pace of the film drops towards the climax and the movie has been wrapped up abruptly. Songs act as speed breakers and do not help the movie in any way. The length of the film could have been trimmed in the second half.

Technical Aspects :
Cinematography is very decent and visuals look rich and colourful. Editing is ok in the first half, but not very effective in the second half. Some dialogues are good, especially the ones written for Mohan Babu.
Srivas’s direction is ok in parts. He has shown his talent in few places like the interval fight sequence.

Verdict :
‘Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummedha’ is a decent commercial entertainer from the Manchu family. It feels quite good to see Dr. Mohan Babu, Vishnu and Manoj together. Commercially, this film should score well at the Box Office as the entertainment quotient is quite good.

Director Takes His Words Back On Pawan kalyan

Director Takes His Words Back On Pawan kalyan

Post the release of 'Iddarammayilatho', There have been reports in the media about the unpleasant atmosphere between Pawan Kalyan and Puri Jagannath. It was reported by a National daily that Puri commented he would never ever work with the actor again.

Puri rubbishes these reports and clarifies all is well between him and Powerstar. "Generally, Journalists tend to ask some routine questions like when I will be working with Pawan, Mahesh, X, Y in every interview. It was after a day long promotion for 'Iddarammayilatho, A journo asked if I would work with Pawan again and I replied who knows what will happen'. The next day, it became a headlines news. I owe my career to Pawan Kalyan and would love to work with him again," he explained.

Puri Jagannath made his debut as director with the film 'Badri' in the year 2000. It took him 12 years to get the nod from the actor for their second combo. Let's see how long it will take for the hat-trick!

Heart Attack Movie Complete Review

Heart Attack Movie Complete Review

Tollywood Junction Rating: 3.25/5
Punch Line: "AVERAGE" Attack
Genre: Romantic and action love story
Star Cast: Nithin and adah sharma
Director: Puri jagannadh
Producer: Puri jagannadh
Music: Anup Rubens
Released on: 31st jan 2014
Expectations: Yes
Reached Expectations: Not up to the mark

STORY:

Varun (Nitin) is a traveller, who loves to travel different places all the time and works for part-time at that place to earn a living. At the time Varun enters Spain, a girl from India, Hayathi (Adah Sharma) lands up there to meet her friend Priya (Kesha Kambati) and help her in love. Priya’s father Iskon Ramana (Brahmanandam) runs an Iskon centre and he is a staunch Lord Krishna devotee.

By the time Hayathi convinces Ramana about Priya’s love, she falls in love with Varun who is trailing all the time for a ‘kiss’. What happens when Varun seeks a kiss but neither love nor relation, and how Adah escapes Varun is the interval bang. From then, scene shifts to India, with Varun trying to find out Adah and encountering drug lord Makrand.

PERFORMANCES:

Nitin looks extremely handsome and stylish in his new look. He breathed freshness into hero’s character, and behaved impressive like a Puri’s hero. Cool dances, and effective dialogue delivery are his assets. But he is a bit low in fights, an area in which Puri’s heroes are awesome all the time.

Adah Sharma makes you spell binding with her terrific performance. She is beautiful, but hasn’t done any glamour show like Puri’s heroines. Her splendid expressions and beautiful screen presence attracts youths.

Apart from Nitin and Adah, new girl Kesha Kambati who played Venky’s side kick in ‘Shadow’ has done a decent role as heroine’s friend. Also Tejaswini (SVSC fame) too attracted attention in the role of Brahmi’s daughter.

Brahmanadam is as usual at his best, though the role is quite okay, his conversations with Lord Krishna and reactions regarding her daughter’s love are terrific. First half belongs to Brahmi’s entertaining quotient. Ajay proved that he quite superb as a villain, and he scores marks. Same is the case with Ali who played Tamil Rajnikanth in second half. Pulling few laughs, he fits the bill perfectly with a couple of double entendres too.

Prakash Raj just shined in a small role, of no importance, but made his presence felt for whistles and claps. Another lady who is famous for that Welcom Kanakam song in Baadshah too sparkled in a miniscule role.

DIRECTION:

Once again Puri Jagan is best at his direction, though he selected a simple story again. The way he made scenes run racy with his upbeat screenplay made the flick interesting. In weaving ingredients like comedy, double meanings, peppy scenes and interesting moments, Puri is second to none. Also he has done good job as dialogue writer again, as some one-liners are simply cracking theatres into whistles.

Cinematographer Amola Rathod did a fantastic job and every frame in Heart Attack is rich and new. If Spain is beautiful, Amol’s work made it best. Refreshingly new camera angles and breezy inter-cuts between shots are what Amol’s strongest areas. At the same time, art director Brahma Kadali’s work, colour palette and vibrant ideas complemented the film’s look well. Costumes are also superb as everyone will now think about wearing stuff like Nitin’s and Adah’s.

Anup Rubens already scored a peppy album that got a couple of songs like ‘Nuvvante Naaku’ and ‘Choopinchandey’ that became chartbusters while emotional song ‘Selavanuko’ is hot favourite. He did well with background score too, literally pouring life to this simple flick.

Ram-Laxman’s action choreography is impressive again with top notch fights, while SR Sekhar’s editing is crisp and intuitive.

The PLUSES:

·               First half dialogues, satires

·               Nitin and Adah Sharma

·               Cinematography

·               Songs and background score

·               Fights

The MINUSES:

·         Poor and predictable story

·         Simple climax

BREAKDOWN:

All the time, Puri Jagan showcases that woman are a bit less in terms of heart and love, but this time he kept woman on a high. Probably, as his wife Lavanya is the producer, he might have changed his version. Rather sticking to negative aspects, he came out of that and tried to portray pure love, emotions and a masla story. But yes, story is missing again.

Like in all formulaic flicks, Puri introduces a villain and his strength in Goa and then shifts scene to Spain for a love story. Though the way hero tackles heroine is quite new, there is nothing fresh in terms of story. Audience could expect what will happen next. Anyway, Puri’s dialogues and screenplay will hold the grip. In a scene, where Puri says that ‘Titanic’ is destroyed due to two lovers, one will get goose bumps for his different review on an acclaimed hit Hollywood flick. But if anyone expects too much romance in this love story, then they should know the fact that Puri’s love stories will have more dialogues and less of romance. And after a fall out, scene shifts to India, hero finds his lover, kills the goon and the end. Sometimes Idiot, and sometimes Sivamani, but not a heart attack really. Predictable, but pleasant!!!

As usual our director made hero to tell some philosophies, and again stressed that ‘extraordinary’ philosophy said by Pawan in Rambabu movie is right. Though Puri tried to portray the strengths of Nitin, our hero’s minuses too played their part. Nitin worked very well on his body language but haven’t got that punch in fights. Also his dialogue delivery needs some workout, as he is rolling out in areas still. Had he been more effective like a Raviteja, this film would have become an Idiot. But this time, only an average fare.

FINAL VERDICT:

Heart attack may hit the "HEART'S" if no movie releases in between.Watch it for excellent performances and dialogues.

Shanti revealed shocking facts about Srihari’s Death

Shanti revealed shocking facts about Srihari’s Death
Srihari Death : ‘Disco’ Shanti revealed shocking facts about the death of Srihari. She felt her husband wouldn’t have died if he was offered proper treatment.Srihari suffered Jaundice a year ago. Ever since then he follows a particular diet and has been eating just curd rice for dinner.
On the day of death, Srihari complained chest pain and a doctor has attended him in half-an-hour. As the actor’s pulse was going down, he was rushed to Lilavathi Hospital which was just at a nearby distance.
While Srihari and his assistants went to the hospital, Shanti reached the hotel room. She spoke to Srihari once and he said he was fine. After some time, Shanti called him again and then the assistant informed her that Srihari is very weak. Soon, Shanti went to hospital where doctors assured her that there is nothing to worry.
Few minutes later, Doctors shifted him to ICU and I sensed something danger. At that time, more than 10 doctors attended him and he began shouting all of a sudden. I rushed inside and found him in a pool of blood. At 4:30 pm, Doctors informed me that he is no more.
Shanti strongly feels the treatment offered to Srihari was wrong and she even thought of suing the doctors. She, however, called off her plans as action against them willn’t bring her husband alive.

NAGARJUNA'S EMOTIONAL SPEECH ABOUT HIS FATHER.

NAGARJUNA'S EMOTIONAL SPEECH ABOUT HIS FATHER.

Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna posted on his Facebook page a very emotional letter about his father’s death. He explained in it how his father had foreseen death and was mentally prepared for it. The letter is as follows.
It was so sudden. He hadn’t really prepared us for his going, although he had cancer.
On the other hand, maybe he did let us know in his own way that the end was near.On his 90th birthday in September he decided to call all his friends and family from India and abroad, around 2,000 people.
I think he had a premonition. There were 200 tables at his birthday dinner. He went to each and every table to talk to all his friends, some of them from America.
He made an hour-long speech, which we fortunately recorded. It’s the only biographical life-sketch we have of him. We now intend to make it public.
Right from my childhood I looked at him with awe. When we went out together, the respect he commanded was visible even to a child. Even if he was not recognized by someone as an actor, my father still commanded the same respect.
He carried his aura way beyond the screen. At home he was a complete husband, father and grandfather. He was the most complete human being I know.
And yet I connected with him like any son does to his father.
Outside the house he was this iconic deified figure. Inside the house he was a sorted-out, genial householder always ready to lend a patient ear to our problems. He didn’t play favorites in the family.
He loved me my brother and our children equally.
As an actor he enjoyed acting until the 1970s and 80s. Then just when I came in as a leading man Indian cinema become mongrelized, Westernized and corrupted.
My father didn’t like it at all. He would ask, ‘Why does our cinema need to ape the West? Our culture and heritage are so rich. Why do you need to change that?’
I argued back saying ‘We had to give the audience what they wanted.’ He would counter-argue saying, ‘Look at the Chinese, Koreans. Their cinema preserves their language and culture. They’re global leaders.
Recently when I made a film I wanted to send it to international film festivals after cutting the songs. My father was aghast. ‘Why are you cutting out your culture?’ he asked. I listened to him and kept the songs.
In his later years he continued to watch all the films. He would comment only on the acting as acting was his first love. He saw no logic in my action scenes. Lately he had started approving of my performances. He liked my performance in Sri Ramadasu.
Sometimes we would try to find fault with him and end up stonewalled and very angry because we couldn’t find a single fault.
When he was diagnosed with cancer he gave us the strength and courage to face up to the impending tragedy. He taught us to deal with it.
When he knew he was losing the battle with the disease he closed his eyes and surrendered to death. He developed a pain at the end.
We took him to the hospital and for the first time he had to be given painkillers. The doctor warned us that it was the beginning of the end.
We were told he had two months more and that his condition would get very bad. He said he wanted to go home.
That night (January 21) he called all of us to gather around him. At around 9.30 pm he asked all of us to go home. That night he passed away.
The love that has flown out of his fans after death has overwhelmed us. We haven’t had time to feel our grief. Thousands of people came. We had to shut the gates after more people couldn’t come into the house. They kept on coming.
After June 2013 I had cancelled all my shooting to be with him. Now when he’s gone I’ve my work to distract me from my sense of loss.

I Love Prabhas Very Much

Manchu multi-starrer Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda has costed the makers a budget of Rs 30 crore. As the distributors offered just Rs 20 crore for the theatrical rights of the movie, Mohan Babu refused it and planned a own release. "They offered Rs 20 crore for Rs 30 crore project. So, we planned own release. PPT will be releasing in more number of theatres than 'Doosukeltha' and 'Denikaina Ready'. I won't say its a great film, but it is definitely a good film. This film is a big test for our luck," says Collection King.

Mohan Babu is confident of scoring a hit with Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda. He feels Manchu Manoj who sports a female get-up (Mohini) in the movie steals the show in the second half.

When enquired about his re-entry in Politics, Mohan Babu made it clear he has no such plans in the near future. "If I contest elections, I will announce that I am not going buy votes with notes. I am ready to face defeat by refusing to distribute money, but I can't get defeated by offering money. I have no plans to campaign for any party also," he  told.

Mohan Babu wishes to see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister. Among the current crop of heroes, the senior actor revealed he likes Prabhas very much and they even shared screen space in the movie 'Bujjigadu'.

Gap in Tollywood: "Last year, I was busy shooting for two Tamil flicks and my sister Nisha's marriage. My next Telugu film is with Ram Charan and we will be shooting from  Feb 6th. I am playing a very good role in the movie".

Distanced T-town due to Remuneration issues?: "I don't think commercially. I am very happy doing Telugu films and I will never leave Tollywood."

Bollywood projects: "We could do 4 films down South in the time we complete 1 film in Bollywood. My first preference will be for South."

Ram charan Changed His Track

Ram charan Change's His Track

If one takes an average of hero Ram Charan’s last four films, the success rate is high. Barring ‘Zanjeer/Thoofan’ the rest of his flicks did well at the box office.
However, there is also a criticism that the success was more due to external factors and not because of the film’s content or its packaging.
On the other hand, Charan has always focused more on action and masala entertainers. However, the latest reports reveal he has decided to take the route of Junior NTR.
Buzz is that Charan’s next venture with director Krishna Vamsi would be more similar to Junior’s movie ‘Brindaavanam’ in terms of flavor.
It is heard that Charan is shifting his track to now woo the family audience and develop a new image for himself. Even Krishna Vamsi did a good job with such entertainers like ‘Chandamama’. ‘Murari’.
So this new project tentatively titled as 'Govindudu Andari Vadele’ is expected to be more on a family entertainer kind of track.
Wonder how the mega fans will enjoy this new avatar of their favorite star.

Love You Bangaram:Movie Review

Love You Bangaram:Movie Review

Story line and performances:

There is some meaning, if a movie is shown in obscene and raunchy, with a college story or with a teenage stir. This type of a concept can be accepted because; now the generation is like that. What one can say, if Romance between wife and husband is shown in a very vulgar manner? There is already an impression on Maruthi that he will make raw raunchy films. “Eerojullo” and “Bus Stop” are best examples for this. Maruthi always takes care to have obscene content in the films that he produces. A new Director, Govi took megaphone with yesterday’s Romance and today’s Love You Bangaram. Even as new Director, he just followed the path Maruthi and released it on the audience. Let us see how much romance is present in Love You Bangaram.
Akash (Rahul) suffers from inferiority complex. He frustrates even for small instances. Even though, he works as an Assistant Manager, he could not even buy a two wheeler. Anyway, that is a different story. Meenakshi (Shravya) is a girl with lot of confidence. Both love each other and they marry against the will of their parents.
They come from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad to settle down. For sometime, they will have good married life. She wants to do a job, as she gets bored at home. Even though Akash gives his nod, he will have some suspicion in his mind. To the surprise, the office will have people of different characters. In the mean time, Madan (Rajiv), the tenth class lover of Meenakshi enters the story. Akash notices a change in Meenakshi after she joins the job. His suspicion is added day by day….that something is going on behind. Basically, what is the reason for change in Meenakshi’s attitude?? Are they only a suspicion or really Meenakshi is on the wrong track. The next story is basically about these issues.
To speak in a word, it is a story of a married couple. He made this story in a very romantic way. But there is a little twist in the movie. That is a Psycho character, which enters at the climax of the movie. After watching the movie, one can observe that Govi first wrote a story for a Psycho character, and seems that he added a love story to that. The movie does not enter the Main Line till the pre-climax of the film. Once the Psycho enters, then we cannot watch his ferocious character. However, the episode before the wedding is a sheer waste. Even the love affair is not at all a different one, but it is as old as a black and white movie. Looking at amiability of the boy, the girl loves him and the boy falls in love with the girl at her beauty – that way the story goes on.
There are many small as well as sub-stories in the movie. It seems that the Director has a lot of anger, revenge, vengeance, etc., with the Software employees. All that he showed in this movie. He showed that Software engineers as watching blue films and drinking beers in the office, with a packet of condoms as the pen in the pocket. There is no limit to the double meaning dialogues.
A boy says that he is specialist in opening the seal…… looking at a girl !
It doesn’t matter, whether it is thin or fat, but it should work says the girl !
How to cook, if you need me in bedroom till nine.. Asks a housewife..!
These are only a few to explain, but the movie is full of such double meaning dialogues.
Overall, Maruthi showed all his talent. He thought to bring the audience to the theaters by just trusting raunchy aspects. As Maruthi could not direct the film without a double meaning, now he decayed to such state that he can not invest in the films, without the double meanings. When there is no anxiety about the movie and nothing of interesting, about the next scenes, then such type of movie is mere waste. This film also comes into the list of such movies.

Final Verdict:

Not worth watching movie. You can just go for next alternative avoiding this

Child Artist Turn's Into A Sexy Heroine

Child Artist Turn's Into A Sexy Heroine

Actress Shravya who is making her debut as an actress with Love You Bangaram has been part of few successful films as a child artist. She acted in movies like Arya, Sandhade Sandhadi and few other as child artiste when she was in Class IV.

Shravya is a student of VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology in Hyderabad. She signed one more film Kai Raja Kai even before the release of her debut movie.

Playing the role of a housewife who is beautiful, confident and bold in her maiden film has given enough scope for her exhibit her acting prowess. Shravya is all praise for Director Maruthi who is presenting this movie. According to her, Maruthi has got a style of his own and he isn't afraid of attempting new genres.

Needless to say, Shravya is very excited about Love You Bangaram. Wish she makes her presence felt!
